PhD in Machine Learning

My work is related to the intersection of artificial intelligence and physical intelligence. Currently, I'm focused on bringing physical intelligence to life through metamaterials, specifically by developing new design methodologies that leverage differentiable simulation. I am trying to find ways to make materials “smarter” through computational design.

Victor Riera Naranjo

PhD in Aerospace Engineering

My research interests lie in metamaterials and nonlinear dynamics of materials. From understanding fracture dynamics in hyperelastic regimes to optimizing structures for deep-sea environments, I try to apply a multidisciplinary approach to the problems I study. Outside the office, I enjoy playing tennis, watching films, and reading.
